I recently had the opportunity to direct a branding shoot for a professional therapist. Since my degree minor is social sciences, this type of profession is of particular interest to me. Needless to say that with all the recent changes we’ve all experienced due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there is an uptick in the need for therapists and more importantly, therapy. I think that what made this branding shoot a success is planning it to take place at the clients home. I find that when people are in their own environment they tend to be a bit more relaxed. Plus, I love photographing subjects in their element. Showcasing their personality and lifestyle. Meredith's sun room was probably my favorite spot in her beautiful home to shoot in. It was bright, airy, cozy and full of the things that speak to who she is.
